Crescent City Catfish 5K
The Crescent City Catfish 5K takes place on April 3, 2027 in Crescent City, Florida, with the start/finish located near 502 S. Prospect Street and Eva Lyons Park. Proceeds support the Rotary Club of Crescent City's Catfish Festival and the club's Dollars for Scholars program.

Registration opens October 14, 2026. Early entry fee applies through December 31, 2026; a higher fee applies for registrations after that date and additional race day registration is available. An extra $1 applies for XXL and XXXL shirts. Shirt sizes are only guaranteed for registrations completed by March 15, 2027. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for April 2 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home next to Eva Lyons Park and race day packet pickup is available at the race site.
The course follows smooth asphalt through residential areas and along the banks of Lake Crescent. It includes rolling hills and several steep grades. The route will be marked, intersections will be blocked to traffic, and volunteers will be positioned along the course. Water is provided at the halfway point and a large digital clock will be at the start-finish line.
Timing will be managed professionally using disposable electronic tags attached to bibs. Bibs must be worn on the front, pinned at all four corners, visible and unaltered. Results will be posted at the race site and made available online. Organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event in cases of inclement weather or emergency; there are no refunds if the race is canceled or postponed.
The adjacent Catfish Festival at Eva Lyons Park will feature food, kids games, live entertainment and a car show. Awards for the 5K will be presented to the top three male and top three female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
