LIC Wellness Fest - Hurricane Fit Race
LIC Wellness Fest - Hurricane Fit Race is a festival-style obstacle event held in Long Island City, Queens. The venue is on 44th Drive between Jackson Avenue and Thomson Avenue. The course occupies one city block and is presented as a "mystery course" with 20 obstacles.
The festival program includes fitness demos, wellness activations, live workouts and classes, nutritional workshops, massage and recovery zones, free samples and giveaways, and activities intended for all ages. Live online, email, and text results are provided, and finish-line photos and video are offered at no charge.
Prizes are awarded to the top finishers, including a $500 prize for the first overall male and female and awards for the top three overall male and female finishers.
Registration is not yet open; registration will open ahead of the listed date and a notification option is available. Bib pickup is handled by event staff; personalized bibs are offered to registrants who register three weeks in advance. A bib number is required for pickup and lookup options are provided. Registrants within 24 hours of the event can receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.
