LIC Waterfront 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community road running event held at Hunter's Point South Park in Long Island City, NY. Last year's race took place on June 6, 2026, at Center Blvd. and Borden Ave. The course runs along the waterfront and includes options for adults and children.

Amenities include T-shirts for participants who register before May 14 and a dedicated Kids Dash for younger participants. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers in male, female, and nonbinary categories.
Bib pickup is organized on the days immediately before the event at Culture Lab LIC at the Plaxall Gallery, 5-25 46th Ave., Long Island City, and on the race day at Ottomanelli’s By The Water on the west side of Hunter's Point South Park by the East River near Center Blvd. and Borden Ave.
Live results are available online, by email, and by text. Free video and same-day finish line photos are offered, and additional event photos are posted on social media.
