Liberty 10K

Organized by the Knights of Columbus Jesus, Mary and Joseph Council #4071, this event on July 4, 2026 includes a 10K run, a 5K run and a 5K walk. The event marks the 40th anniversary of the race and coincides with the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

The course starts and finishes at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Bartlett Road in Harborcreek, PA. The route is described as relatively flat and is bounded by East Lake Road, Boyer Road, Iroquois Avenue and Bartlett Road. The exact course layout will be posted on race day. There are three water stops on the course and mile splits will be announced. Crossings and turns will be marked and staffed.

Timing will be provided by the Big White Trailer and an awards presentation will take place in the church parking lot after the last finisher. All finishers receive a race medallion. Trophies are presented to first and second place male and female finishers in each race. The first 100 registered participants receive a race T shirt. Complimentary refreshments and snacks are offered after the race.
