ERC St. Patrick's Day Distance Festival takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Presque Isle in Erie, Pennsylvania. The event is organized around the Rotary Pavilion at the Waterworks area and offers multiple distance options.
Distances
- 5k Race (entry fee $16)
- 10k Race (entry fee $16)
- Both 5k and 10k (combined entry fee $18)
The course begins and ends near the front of the Rotary Pavilion. Packet pickup opens at the Rotary Pavilion near the Waterworks area; the pavilion has heated restrooms and post-race refreshments. The event is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather, except if Presque Isle State Park is closed by park authorities.
Shirt participation is optional. The race premium is a triblend T-shirt; pre-registration is required to be guaranteed a shirt on race day. Orders will not be taken for additional shirts, shirts not picked up on race day will be forfeited, and shirts are distributed only after a participant finishes the race.
Awards are given to the first-place male and female and to the first masters male and female, with age group awards in both the 10k and the 5k. Sponsors listed for the event include the Erie Runners Club and Big White Trailer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
