Lewistown Chokecherry Run
The event in Lewistown features multiple distances and takes place around Frank Day Park and the nearby Brewery Flats area. It includes a 10K, a 5K run, a 5K walk, and sponsored 1 mile fun runs for children and older youth.

Course and logistics differ by distance. The 10K is on paved roads, is described as mostly downhill, and turns onto Roundhouse Road before running along Brewery Flats to the finish at Frank Day Park; a portable bathroom is available at the race start. The 5K route includes one hill and a short gravel segment and also finishes along Brewery Flats at the park. The 1 mile fun run covers about 2 1/4 laps of the city park and is a flat loop.
Packet pickup is offered at the Lewistown Sport Center on September 6 and on race day at Frank Day Park. T-shirt and swag availability is not guaranteed for registrations completed after August 1. Dogs are not allowed in the run. Registration fees vary by event, including a fee waiver for the kids fun run and a lower fee for the older fun run.
