Lewistown Chokecherry Run
Lewistown Chokecherry Run takes place in Lewistown, Montana, with activity centered at Frank Day Park and course sections that run along Brewery Flats and Roundhouse Road. The program includes multiple distances and a mix of paved road and park loops.
- 10K (6.2 miles) paved road, mostly downhill, runs along Roundhouse Road and Brewery Flats
- 5K (3.1 miles) includes one hill and a short gravel section, finishes at Frank Day Park
- 5K walk (3.1 miles) same general route as the 5K
- 1 mile fun runs separate categories for children 12 and under and for ages 13 and older
Course details note that the 10K is on paved road and mostly downhill, and the 5K has one hill and some gravel. The 1 mile kids event uses multiple laps of the city park and is a flat course. A portable bathroom is available at the 10K start area.
Registration fees listed for the events include a common $30 fee for the 5K and 10K events, a $10 fee for the 1 mile for ages 13 and older, and no fee for the 1 mile for children 12 and under. Packet pickup is available at the Lewistown Sport Center on Sept. 6 and also at Frank Day Park on race day. T-shirt and swag are not guaranteed for registrations made after August 1.
