Judith Mountain 10K
The Judith Mountain 10K takes place in the Judith Mountains, situated approximately 10 miles from Lewistown, Montana. The event offers two distinct distances for participants:
- 10K Trail Run: A 6.2-mile looped course featuring 1,280 feet of elevation gain on single-track trails.
- 6K Hike Only: An out-and-back route with an elevation gain of 950 feet.
The event starts and finishes at the Judith Mountain Lodge, specifically at the Limekiln Trailhead. The trail run is open to participants between the ages of 7 and 99, while the hike is open to all ages up to 99. Most of the 10K route follows natural single-track paths through the mountain landscape.
This event is held in coordination with the Centerfest Music Festival in Lewistown. The race organizers provide opportunities for participant tracking, and historical data indicates the event has a limited capacity, often reaching registration limits quickly. Facilities at the site include parking and shuttling services for attendees. Digital photos and official results are typically provided following the conclusion of the event.
