Lets Run Rhyl 5 Mile & 10 Mile

Lets Run Rhyl is scheduled to take place in February 2027 with the exact date to be confirmed because of ongoing sea defence works. The event is set in the seaside town of Rhyl on the North Wales coast and features two races on the same day.

  • 5 mile
  • 10 mile

The course is described as flat and fast and is mostly run on paths and the promenade. There are no road closures. Drink stations are provided at approximately every three miles and at the finish; runners who need more water are advised to bring a personal bottle. Toilets are located near the start and finish; there are no dedicated changing facilities. Parking is available next to the start and finish on the promenade. Sat Nav postcode provided is LL22 7PQ.

First aid cover is provided by a professional medical team with stations at the start, finish and on course. Runners should complete the medical history on the back of their race number. If a runner retires they must return their timing chip to race headquarters or inform the nearest marshal and arrange their own transport back to the start.

All finishers receive a technical T shirt and a bespoke medal. Awards are given for male and female 1st to 3rd overall and for 1st in each age category. A baggage area is available by race headquarters but valuables should not be left there. Headphones are not permitted except bone conducting types in line with UK Athletics rules. Litter must be left at water stations or given to marshals; deliberate disposal outside these areas may lead to disqualification. Runners are expected to maintain roughly a 12 to 15 minute mile pace; those slower may be directed to use pavements and must obey all traffic signals and signs.
