Lets Run Rhyl 5 Mile & 10 Mile
Due to continued sea defence works in Rhyl the event will be held in February 2027, date to be confirmed. The races take place in Rhyl on the North Wales coast along a predominantly promenade and path course that is described as flat and fast.
Two race distances are offered:
- 5 mile
- 10 mile
Race HQ is located near the start and finish and manages number and chip pickup and baggage storage. Drink stations are provided at approximately every three miles and at the finish; runners who require extra water are advised to carry their own bottle. Toilets are available near the start and finish but there are no changing facilities; parking is available next to the promenade (Sat Nav LL22 7PQ).
First Aid is provided by a professional medical team with stations at the start, finish and on course; runners should complete the medical history on the back of their race number. If a runner retires they must return their timing chip to race HQ or inform the nearest marshal and arrange their own transport.
All finishers receive a technical T-shirt and a bespoke medal. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall and to first place in each age category. Road closures are not in place and headphones are not permitted except bone-conducting devices. Results will be published on Run Wales later in the day. Photos are available at mickhall-photos.com.
