Lets Run Rhyl 5 Mile & 10 Mile
Lets Run Rhyl is a two-race running event set in the seaside town of Rhyl on the North Wales coast. The event has been rescheduled to February 2027 due to ongoing sea defence works; the exact date is to be confirmed.
Two distances are offered:
- 5 Mile
- 10 Mile
The course is described as flat and fast and is run mostly on paths and the promenade with no full road closures. The event has previously hosted regional and national 10 mile championships in multiple years. Drink stations are provided at about every 3 miles and at the finish. Toilets are located near the start and finish; there are no dedicated changing facilities. Free parking is available next to the start and finish on the promenade. First aid cover is provided at the start, on course, and at the finish.
All finishers receive a technical T shirt and a bespoke medal. Awards are given for male and female 1st to 3rd overall and for first in each age category. A baggage area is available next to race HQ. Headphones are not permitted except bone conducting types. Runners must observe litter rules and a recommended minimum pace of about 12 to 15 minutes per mile; slower runners may be directed to use pavements and follow course signs.
