Let's Grow Together 5K
The Let’s Grow Together 5K is a community running event focused on personal growth, wellness, leadership development, and community engagement. The event combines a short-distance run with on-site wellness and community activities.
The event hub is the Herbert Wells Ice Rink parking lot at 5211 Campus Drive, College Park, MD 20740. The course follows scenic trails around Lake Artemesia and offers waterfront views along a mostly flat route suitable for runners, joggers, and walkers.
Packet pickup and same-day registration take place at the event hub on race morning. Registration opens June 12, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026. The stated registration fee is $40.00. Registration includes an official event T-shirt and bag, a finisher medal, and professional event photos, plus access to wellness activities and the sponsor village.
The race begins in three Growth Waves based on preferred pace: a wave for runners, a wave for joggers, and a wave for walkers, families, strollers, and first-time participants. The event schedule also features a community warm-up, opening ceremony, sponsor village, music and entertainment, food vendors, photo opportunities, family-friendly activities, and a post-race celebration. Parking is available on-site and staff and volunteers will assist participants.
