Lenexa Freedom Run
The Lenexa Freedom Run is held on July 4, 2026, at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center, 9301 Pflumm Road, Lenexa, KS 66215. The event offers two distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
Registration opened on March 2, 2026 at 09:00 and closed on May 4, 2026 at 00:59. The registration fee was $28.00. The 10K does not allow walkers; the 5K includes options for runners, walkers, and participants pushing strollers. The race program includes age divisions for both male and female competitors, with awards for top finishers in each division: plaques for first place and medals for second and third.
Race participants receive a complimentary Freedom Run T-shirt while supplies last; size requests will be honored to the extent possible. Finisher medals are optional and available for an additional $5.00. The event policy states that no refunds will be given.
Packet pickup is available at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center on July 3, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on July 4, 2026 from 5:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
