Event

The Lenexa Freedom Run takes place on July 4, 2026 in Lenexa, Kansas. The event includes two race distances:

10K

The event brings together over 1,600 participants and is described as welcoming walkers and stroller users as well as runners. Participants receive a complementary Freedom Run T-shirt while supplies last.

Registration and fees

Registration opens March 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. CST. Entry fee for each distance is $28. No refunds will be given.

Logistics and awards

The race location and packet pickup are at Lenexa Old Town Activity Center, 9301 Pflumm Road, Lenexa, KS 66215. Packet pickup options:

July 3, 2026: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center
July 4, 2026: 5:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center

Awards: plaques for first place and medals for second and third place in each age division. The 5K has 16 male and 16 female age divisions. The 10K has 8 male and 8 female age divisions.
