Lenexa Freedom Run
The Lenexa Freedom Run takes place on July 4, 2026, at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center, 9301 Pflumm Road, Lenexa, KS 66215. The event includes two race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
Each race has a listed entry price of $28. Registration opens April 1, 2026 at 8:00am CDT.
Event information and logistics
The event is described as family-friendly and typically brings together over 1,600 participants. Registered entrants receive a complimentary Freedom Run T-shirt while supplies last; size requests will be honored to the extent possible. Awards include plaques for first-place finishers and medals for second and third place finishers in each age division. The 5K has 16 age divisions for both male and female; the 10K has 8 age divisions for both male and female. The event policy states that no refunds will be given.
Packet pickup is available at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center on July 3, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on July 4, 2026 from 5:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. The organizer provides a contact form for race questions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
