The Leipziger Silberseelauf is a traditional running event held in the southern part of Leipzig, featuring various race distances suitable for all ages. Participants can choose from routes of 400 meters for children, 2 kilometers for kids, and longer distances of 5, 10, and 20 kilometers. The event starts and finishes at the Bruno-Plache-Stadion, with the course winding through the scenic Erholungspark Dölitz-Lössnig and around the Silbersee.
