Leigh-on-Sea Running Festival 2026
Leigh-on-Sea Running Festival is a new running event held at Leigh Marina in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. The event offers three route options and uses a mostly new course that shares a small section with the Leigh-on-Sea 10K Classic.
Runners can choose from these distances:
- 5K: Suitable for beginners, juniors and first-time racers.
- 10K: Predominantly new route, fast and scenic, suitable for PB attempts.
- Half Marathon: Extended coastal route showcasing more of Leigh-on-Sea for first timers and experienced runners.
Every entry includes a bespoke LOS Run Fest finisher medal, chip timing, music and an event village, and professional event photography. Race bib collection is scheduled in the days before the event to help make race morning smoother; race-day collection is available by prior arrangement for those who need it. Planned course routes are available for each distance and are subject to change. Final race information and race-day instructions will be emailed to entrants during race week.
The event notes that there is no parking available within Leigh Marina and that public car parks are located within approximately a five-minute walk of the event headquarters. Entrants are asked to park respectfully. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
