About the race
The LOS Run Fest is a new running festival in Leigh-on-Sea, held at Leigh Marina, Leigh-On-Sea, Essex, SS9 2ES. The event is organised by Mammoth Events and offers multiple race distances and a coastal route.
Distances:
- 5K suitable for beginners, juniors and parkrunners.
- 10K a predominantly brand-new, fast and scenic route.
- Half Marathon an extended coastal route showing more of Leigh-on-Sea.
The majority of the course is a new route that shares only a small section with the Leigh-on-Sea 10K Classic. Planned routes for each distance are available but are subject to change.
Every entry includes a bespoke LOS Run Fest finisher medal, chip timing, music and an event village, and professional event photography. Race bib collection is organised in the days before the event; local entrants are asked to collect in advance while race-day collection can be arranged for those who need it. Final race information and race-day instructions will be emailed to all entrants during race week.
There is no parking available within Leigh Marina. Nearby public car parks are within approximately a five-minute walk of event HQ and entrants are asked to park considerately with respect for local residents. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
