Event overview
The Legacy of Courage Half Marathon takes place on May 10, 2026 in Tomball, Texas at Burroughs Park (9738 Hufsmith Rd, 77375). Proceeds benefit The Outdoor Disabled Veterans Program through Knowledge Point Network. The race is produced and hosted by Bigfoot Running Company. Awards are given by age group and for overall finishers. All finishers of all distances receive a shirt and a medal.

Volunteer then Run option is available for the 5K and is limited to the first 10 sign-ups; it includes a custom chip-timed bib.
Course, facilities and services
Burroughs Park spans about 320 acres and has more than eight miles of hiking trails, a seven-acre stocked fishing lake, an observation deck, and an elevated boardwalk. Course surfaces may include pavement, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. The event includes aid stations on course, on-site vendors, and complimentary snacks and refreshments at the finish.
