Leeds Running Festival - 29 August 2027
Leeds Running Festival takes place at Roundhay Park in Leeds, one of the largest city parks in Europe. The event offers multiple race distances held within the park.
- Half Marathon (minimum age 17)
- 10K (minimum age 15)
- 5K (minimum age 11)
- Junior race
Routes follow park footpaths and use a mixture of tarmac and trail. The course passes lakeside paths, woodland trails and open parkland. The half marathon route lists an elevation gain of 264 m.
Entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post race goodies and a bag drop. Race day facilities include an event village with portaloos, a secure baggage marquee using baggage tags on race numbers, and water stations at the 5K point and at the finish area.
The venue address is Mansion Lane, Roundhay, Leeds LS8 2HH. Parking on site is limited; there are bus services to the park, including routes 2 and 12. Due to the course terrain, the event is not suitable for buggy runners or wheelchair athletes. Dogs are not permitted to run; spectators may bring dogs into the event village provided they are kept on a lead. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
