Lee Valley Velo Park Events
The Lee Valley VeloPark series takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. This event utilizes a gated one-mile floodlit road circuit, which was a venue for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The course features a tarmac surface and is designed as a gently undulating circuit similar to a Moto GP track. Each lap includes approximately 15 meters of elevation gain.
Participants can choose from a variety of race distances held on the same day. Each mile split is chip-timed, and results are available for viewing after the event. There are no pacers provided for any of the distances.
Available race distances:
- Half Marathon (13 laps)
- 10 Miles (10 laps)
- 10k (6 laps)
- 5k (3 laps)
- 1 Mile and Junior Race (1 lap)
The event village offers various food and drink options for participants. The entry fee includes a unique themed medal, free digital race photos, and post-race goods provided by event partners at the finish line. Marshals are positioned along the circuit to guide runners through their respective lap counts and toward the conclusion of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
