Lebanon Strawberry Run/Walk - 5k & 1 Mile
The Lebanon Strawberry Run/Walk is held in Lebanon, Oregon as part of the city’s Annual Strawberry Festival. The event includes two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
Both races follow the parade route through town just prior to the Grand Parade and take place during a festival day that features the serving of the "World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake" free to over 15,000 people. Race entry fees benefit the East Linn Christian Cross Country and Track & Field teams. The 5k course is described as a flat out-and-back and the route is lined with parade spectators for its entire length.
T-shirt policies are specified for advance registrations: 5k participants who pre-register by May 22, 2026 receive a t-shirt, and 1 Mile participants may purchase a shirt for $10 by that date. Day-of registration is available with published fees for each distance. Packet pickup is available race morning. Awards and a raffle are held immediately following each race, with overall and age-group medals for the 5k and age-group medals and prizes for the 1 Mile. Raffle winners must be present to claim prizes.
