Event overview
The Frozen Foot Race is an annual running event organized by the Traverse City Track Club (TCTC) in Traverse City, Michigan, held on January 17, 2026. The event is presented by Munson Healthcare and has been held in the area since the mid-1980s. The race starts and finishes at Eastern Elementary School in Traverse City.

Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the open and masters (40+) categories. Awards are also given to the top three in 16 age-group divisions covering ages from 0-12 through 80+.
Registration and logistics
Current 2026 TCTC members may participate free of charge. Nonmembers pay registration fees for the 5-mile: $30 for adults and $20 for students (ages 0-17). The 1-mile fun run for children under 12 has a $5 fee. Online registration is available through race morning. Packet pick-up is available at Fleet Feet's South Airport store (3301 South Airport Road) and at the race site, Eastern Elementary School, on race day.
