Event overview
This Halloween-themed running event on October 31, 2026 takes place at 5 Van Wyck Lane, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. It includes a 5K Run/Walk and a 1K "Spooktacular" Kids Run held as separate races on the same day. Registration opens March 19, 2026.

Entry fees and registration notes are provided for each distance. Early 5K registration is $25 on or before September 20, 2026; beginning September 21 the fee increases to $30 up to race day, with a $35 race day fee. The 1K kids run has a $10 pre-registration fee and the same fee on race day.
Prizes are awarded to overall top male and female finishers in the 5K. Age-group awards recognize the top three male and female finishers in these groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. All children in the 1K receive finishers medals. A costume contest will award prizes for best male, best female, and best kids costumes; costumes are encouraged but not required.
The event is held in honor of a child who experienced blood cancer, and all proceeds will benefit Blood Cancer United to support people and families affected by blood cancer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
