Leadville Trail 10K Run
The Leadville Trail 10K Run takes place on August 15, 2027 in Leadville. Registration opens in January 2027 and the event has a minimum age of 12 on race day.
The course is an out and back that uses the first and final 3.1 miles of the LT100 Run route. The surface includes paved and dirt roads and the total distance is 10K (6.2 miles). The course profile lists about 475 feet of elevation gain, a lowest point near 9,734 feet, and a highest point near 10,135 feet.
There is one aid station located at the turnaround. Aid station offerings include water, Neversecond energy gels and high-carbohydrate beverage mix, Skratch Labs hydration, bars and chews, Pickle Juice Company products, and assorted foods such as bananas, figs, pretzels, chips, and cola products. Event materials also describe specific nutrition products available on course from Neversecond and Skratch Labs.
Packet pick-up and the start line are staged near the Courthouse Lawn and the corner of 6th Street and Harrison in Leadville. An awards ceremony follows the race. Awards are presented to overall and age group top finishers including overall male, overall female, overall non-binary, para categories, and age group placings; age group awards are based on age on race day and overall podium placings are excluded from age category awards.
