Leadville Trail 10K Run
The Leadville Trail 10K Run takes place on August 16, 2026. The event is an out-and-back distance of 6.2 miles (10 km) that uses the first and last 3.1 miles of the LT100 Run course. The route follows a mix of paved and dirt roads and lists 475 feet of elevation gain, with a lowest point at 9,734 feet and a highest point at 10,135 feet.

There will be one aid station at the turnaround and additional liquids on the Courthouse lawn. Aid station food offerings include items such as bananas, figs, pretzels, chips, and soft drinks.
Wheelchair participation is not permitted due to course safety restrictions. Roads used by the event are not fully closed to vehicle traffic; participants should be aware of intersections. Awards are given to overall and age-group top finishers, with categories that include overall male, overall female, overall non-binary, para male, para female, and age-group podiums.
