Leadville Trail 10K Run
The Leadville Trail 10K Run takes place on August 16, 2026 in Leadville. The course is an out and back that uses the first and last 3.1 miles of the LT100 Run course and follows a mix of paved and dirt roads for a total of 6.2 miles / 10k. Course profile data lists 475 feet of elevation gain with a lowest point at 9,734 feet and a highest point at 10,135 feet.
One aid station is provided at the turnaround. Aid offerings include water, Neversecond energy gels and high carbohydrate beverage mix, Skratch Labs hydration products, bars and chews, Pickle Juice Company products, and assorted foods such as bananas, figs, pretzels, chips, and cola products. Additional liquids are available on the Courthouse lawn.
Practical details: general registration opened 1/9/26 and the event price is listed at $70. Minimum age is 12 on race day. Packet pickup occurs in the days before the race with a pickup location at 135 E 6th Street and race day packet pickup at the Courthouse lawn at the corner of 6th and Harrison. Wheelchair participation is not permitted on the course and roads will not be fully closed to vehicle traffic.
Awards are presented by overall and age group categories including overall male, female, non binary, para categories, and age group awards in standard decade brackets.
