Leadville Trail 10K Run
The Leadville Trail 10K Run takes place on August 16, 2026 and covers 6.2 miles / 10 km on an out-and-back course that uses the first and final 3.1 miles of the LT100 Run route. The course runs on both paved and dirt roads and has approximately 475 feet of elevation gain, with listed elevations from 9,734 feet to 10,135 feet.
One aid station is provided at the turnaround; aid offerings include water, Neversecond energy gels and high-carbohydrate beverage mix, Skratch Labs hydration products, bars and chews, Pickle Juice Company products, and assorted foods such as bananas, figs, pretzels, chips, and cola products. Additional liquids are available on the Courthouse Lawn at the packet pickup area.
Entry details in the event information include a minimum age of 12 on race day, registration opening January 9, 2026, and an event entry fee of $70. The deferral deadline is listed as August 13, 2026. Wheelchair participation is not permitted on this course due to safety restrictions, and roads along the route will not be fully closed to vehicle traffic.
