The event starts and finishes at The Leggers Inn, Mill Street, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, WF12 9BD (GR SE249207). It is offered as a walk or run on circular routes. Routes converge at a main refreshment checkpoint so participants may shorten or lengthen their course on the day.

- 21 miles (about 34 km)
Both LDWA and non-LDWA walkers and runners may take part. Dogs are allowed but must be under constant control. Age rules apply: U-18s must be LDWA members or be accompanied by a parent or guardian; U-16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Entry, facilities and safety
Pre-entry is via SiEntries only; advance fees are £9 for LDWA members and £11 for non-members. On-the-day entry may be accepted at £15 if places remain. Entry includes tea and toast at registration, cold drinks and snacks at checkpoints, and a finisher certificate. Participants are asked to bring their own mug.
