Lavenham 10k Race
The Lavenham 10K Race is a scenic trail run held in the historic medieval village of Lavenham, Suffolk. The course covers 10 kilometers of mixed terrain, including footpaths, forest trails, shallow streams, and quiet rural roads, following the old disused railway line. This challenging yet enjoyable route offers splashy fun, especially in winter.
The event welcomes runners of all abilities aged 16 and over, with a 90-minute cut-off time. It is a cupless race to reduce waste, providing water refill stations instead of disposable cups. All finishers receive medals, and trophies are awarded to the top three male and female runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
