Lavenham 10K Race
The Lavenham 10K Race is a trail event held on Sunday 31st January 2027 in Lavenham, Suffolk. The route follows sections of the old disused railway and passes through the medieval village, using a mix of footpaths, forest trails, shallow streams and quiet rural roads. The course is fully marked and marshalled, and first aid and medical assistance will be available during the event.
The race is manually timed and operates a 90 minute cut off. Minimum age is 16 years. All finishers receive a medal and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. An optional eco friendly finisher medal is available. To reduce single use waste this is a cupless race with water available for refilling personal bottles.
Race numbers are not sent out in advance and must be collected on the day; collection is at the race start. A £2 fee applies to non attached club runners to comply with UK Athletics rules. Participants enter at their own risk and must ensure they are medically fit to take part. Appropriate grippy footwear is advised for the varied terrain. The organisers and landowners accept no liability for loss, damage or injury beyond the provision of first aid.
