The Lavender Run takes place in Albuquerque at Alvarado Elementary School, 1100 Solar Rd. NW. The event offers multiple race options on a fast, flat loop course in the North Valley and uses timing chips for official results.

Participants can earn overall and age group awards in the 10K and 5K; top three men and women are recognized by gun time. Registered finishers receive participant medals and a Lavender Run T-shirt. Timing chips are disposable and do not need to be returned. The Kids K is open to registered participants 11 and under and includes a special recognition award.
Packet pickup and late registration occur the day before the race at Fleet Feet Sports in Albuquerque. Race-day registration is available at the Alvarado Elementary School registration area. Parking is provided at nearby Los Poblanos Open Space and Hartnett Park; parking is not allowed at Alvarado Elementary or on adjacent roads.
The event includes aid stations, volunteers, port-a-potties near the start and finish, and on-course radio communications and medical staff. Entry fees are non-refundable and bib transfers are not permitted.
Lavender Run participants aged 13 and older receive complimentary entry to the Lavender Festival on July 26, 2026, which features live music, yoga, wellness seminars, cooking demonstrations, and a marketplace with 70 artisans. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
