Lavender Run
The Lavender Run takes place on July 12, 2026, at Alvarado Elementary School, 1100 Solar Rd. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event offers multiple course options and is organized around a fast, flat loop course in the North Valley.
Participants may choose from:
- 10K
- 5K
- Walk
- Kids K
Courses will be well marked and supported by volunteers and aid stations. The start and finish are located in front of Alvarado Elementary School. Port-a-potties will be available near the start and finish. Participants who wish to be entered in official results and eligible for awards must wear a timing chip and bib; disposable timing chips do not need to be returned.
Awards include overall and age-group prizes for the 10K and 5K for men and women, and special recognition for Kids K participants aged 11 and under. Participant medals and a Lavender Run T-shirt are provided, and refreshments will be available at the finish.
Runner packet pick-up and late registration occur the day before the race at Fleet Feet Sports, 5901 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque. There is no parking at Alvarado Elementary School; designated parking locations include Los Poblanos Open Space and Hartnett Park.
