Event Overview

The Laurel Highlands Ultra takes place in Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania, within the Laurel Ridge State Park. This event marks the forty-seventh consecutive running of the longer ultra distance and the twenty-first year of the shorter ultra distance. The course is situated on the original homelands of the Monongahela, Shawnee, and other nomadic nations.

The races utilize the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail for point-to-point courses. Participants in the longest individual and relay categories travel the entire length of the trail, finishing at Route 56 in Seward. Participants in the shorter ultra categories finish at the 31-mile point near the intersection of Route 31.
