Course and format
All races are point-to-point. The 70.5 mile individual and relay courses run the entire length of the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail and finish at Route 56 in Seward, PA. The 50K races finish at the 31-mile point near the intersection of Route 31.
Entries and registration
The 70-mile individual race has 210 spots, split into three registration opportunities of 70 spots each. The 50K has 250 spots. The 70.5 mile relay and the 50K relay each have 15 team spots. Relay and 50K registrations open on the same date as the first 70-mile registration and remain open until filled. Entry numbers may change based on race director concerns or deferrals, including issues such as illness, smoke, or flooding. Registration closes June 6, 2026.
