Last Mile
The Last Mile takes place on Sunday, December 27, 2026. The event is held at Lake Crabtree Park on Aviation Parkway in Morrisville, North Carolina.
The event offers several race distance options for in-person participation and virtual participation.
- In-person: 6 Mile, 4 Mile, 2 Mile, and Kids in Strollers (for children aged 4 and under).
- Virtual: Virtual 6 Mile, Virtual 4 Mile, and Virtual 2 Mile. There is also an option for exhibitors.
All in-person races have a mass start. The course closes for all races at 9:30 AM. The main park gates are closed to vehicle traffic during the event.
The event encourages participants to run, walk, roll, or stroll. If total participant numbers reach 500 (in-person or virtual 2, 4, or 6 Mile), there will be a random drawing for one male and one female participant to win a free year of entry to all races owned by the organizer.
Registration for in-person races includes a participant shirt and a finisher's champagne glass, guaranteed for those who sign up by December 13. The event features awards for overall and age-group placements, as well as a potential prize for setting a new course record. The event also supports a referral program, team discounts, and fundraising incentives.
