Event overview
The Don't Die in the Chair Last Man Standing takes place in Rome, GA on March 27, 2026. The event follows a Last One Standing format that differs from a traditional backyard ultra: each loop has a shorter cutoff than the previous loop, decreasing by one minute per loop. The first loop example uses a 1 hour cutoff; the next loop uses a 59 minute cutoff, then 58 minutes, and so on. Each loop is 4.167 miles.
Logistics
There is one aid station at the start/finish stocked with water and snacks. Local food trucks will be present, and participants are advised to bring additional food and water because the venue is a significant drive from town. Camping is available on site and porta-potties will be provided. Limited event merchandise will be available for purchase for cash only. All registration sales are final.
