About the race
The Last Chance Half Marathon is the 20th and final edition scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2026, at the North Glenmore Park Community Centre, 2231 Longridge Drive SW.
Distances offered:
- Half marathon
- 10 km on the same pathways with an earlier turnaround point
The route uses pathways from the community centre, around Rockyview hospital and along the reservoir. The start and finish are located at the North Glenmore Park Community Centre, which provides indoor space and washrooms on the main floor.
Entry includes a t-shirt, a finisher medal and a post race lunch. Food provided for runners comprises sub sandwiches and snacks. Awards will be given to the top three men and women in each 10-year age group; Stride’s Running Store will provide additional prizes for top finishers.
Package pick up is scheduled at Strides Marda Loop (3566 Garrison Gate SW) on Saturday, November 14, with assigned pickup windows to reduce congestion. Runners may pick up for another person if they book the corresponding number of slots. Out-of-town participants who cannot attend package pick up can collect race materials at the race start on November 15.
When registering online, participants may choose to make a donation to MitoCanada. Race registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable; cancellation insurance is offered at registration.
