The routes are situated in a scenic area, providing views of the Bow River and the downtown Calgary skyline. The Start/Finish line is located at RiverWalk Plaza, adjacent to the Simmons Building. Upon finishing, participants receive medals and swag bags filled with items from local sponsors. Trophies are awarded for first, second, and third place in both the 1 km and 5 km categories.
