Last Bear Standing

Last Bear Standing is an endurance event scheduled for October 24, 2026 in Garden City, UT, held at Bear Lake Adventure Park (722 S First Lgt Dr). The event uses a Last Man Standing format rather than a traditional fixed-distance race.

Racers complete a 2-mile loop that includes 10 obstacles each hour. Participants must begin the next loop at the start of each hour; missing the cutoff or failing to start ends a racer’s event. There is no predetermined total distance or guaranteed finish time; the event continues until one racer remains in each division.

Basic water will be available to all registered racers. A Deluxe Aid Station add-on is offered for $45 and provides additional hydration, electrolytes, quick carbohydrates, and a selection of salty and sweet snacks intended for consumption between loops. Racers are encouraged to bring their regular personal nutrition, drinks, or supplements and not to try unfamiliar items on race day.

Race-related amenities and extras include official race apparel with a custom T-shirt for $15 and a custom hoodie for $35 (hoodie orders should be placed and paid by October 1 to guarantee availability), spa passes at the Rhythm & Recovery Center, and a $10 park admission discount for racers’ families on race day.

There will be two ultimate champions: the final remaining racer in the Men’s Division and the final remaining racer in the Women’s Division, each receiving the official Last Bear Standing title and championship awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
