Last Bear Standing - Garden City, UT - Oct 24, 2026
Last Bear Standing is an elimination endurance event held at Bear Lake Adventure Park in Garden City, UT. Racers complete a 2-mile loop that includes 10 obstacles each hour, on the hour. Participants who finish a loop quickly gain more recovery time before the next loop begins, while those who conserve energy risk missing the hourly start. Missing the cutoff or failing to start a loop ends a racer’s event. The race continues until the final remaining competitor in each division is declared the champion; there is no predetermined distance or guaranteed finish time.
Water is available to all registered racers. A Deluxe Aid Station add-on is offered for $45 and provides additional fuel including hydration options, electrolytes, quick carbohydrates, and a variety of salty and sweet snacks. Racers are encouraged to bring familiar personal nutrition and to avoid trying new foods or supplements on race day.
Racers’ families receive a $10 discount on admission to Bear Lake Adventure Park on race day. Official event merchandise is available: custom T-shirt $15 and custom hoodie $35, with hoodie orders guaranteed if placed and paid for by October 1. Spa passes at the Rhythm & Recovery Center will be available for recovery after the event. Awards will be given to the final remaining racer in the Men’s Division and the Women’s Division.
