Red Rock Canyon Ultra
The Red Rock Canyon Ultra takes place on November 14, 2026 in Blue Diamond, NV. The event offers multiple trail distances, including:
- 100K
- 50K
- 17K
The courses run through Red Rock National Conservation Area and Cottonwood Valley. Runners follow routes from the Red Rock visitor center through Aztec sandstone canyons and washes, across quarries, and around limestone formations. The 100K course spans Red Rock and Cottonwood Valley before reaching the base of Satan's Escalator and finishing in the town of Blue Diamond.
Start locations differ by distance: the 50K and 100K start at the Red Rock Visitor Center lower parking lot, while the 17K starts at Blue Diamond Park. Parking and shuttles are arranged for 50K and 100K participants from a remote parking area; 17K participants park at the start and no shuttle is provided for that distance. Shuttle capacity is listed as 36.
Aid stations are placed at multiple points along the 50K and 100K courses; the 17K has no aid station and requires participants to carry their own hydration. Several aid stations and crew access points allow bag drop and pacer pickup on the 100K course. Packet pickup is held the Friday before the event at CraftHaus Downtown.
