Red Rock Canyon Ultra - November 14, 2026
The event is a trail ultramarathon held in the Red Rock National Conservation Area near Blue Diamond, Nevada. Courses run on trails and washes through Aztec sandstone canyons, past quarries, and around limestone formations described as millions of years old. The 100K course crosses Red Rock and Cottonwood Valley and reaches the base of Satan's Escalator before finishing in the town of Blue Diamond.
Distances:
- 100K - full Red Rock and Cottonwood Valley route
- 50K - mid-distance trail course
- 17K - shorter trail route starting at Blue Diamond Park
The 100K and 50K courses include multiple staffed aid stations, and organizers provide bag drop locations and crew access at several points. The 17K course does not have an aid station, so participants must carry their own water or hydration. Pacer pickup is listed for portions of the 100K at designated crew access points.
Logistics note: 50K and 100K participants use remote event parking and shuttle service to the start; 17K participants park at the starting location and do not use shuttles. Packet pickup is held the Friday before the event at CraftHaus Downtown during the stated pickup hours. Course maps are provided for each distance.
