Lucky Half Marathon - Las Cruces

The Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at La Llorona Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico (3440 W Picacho Ave, 88007). The event offers the following race options:

• Virtual 5K, Virtual 10K, Virtual Half Marathon
• No-shirt registration options for 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon

Every registered participant receives a custom finisher medal. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles along the courses. Course maps are available for each distance.

Logistics, entries and awards

Packet pickup is held on race morning beginning one hour before the race start. Participants registered by 02/18 are guaranteed race swag in their size; afterward swag is while supplies last. Registration fees vary by registration period (preview, early bird, regular, late, and race day) with example ranges: 5K ($25–$40), 10K ($35–$50), Half Marathon ($50–$65), Virtual races ($25–$35). Teams of five or more receive per-person discounts scaled by team size.

Awards are given by distance and include Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Masters (60+), and Top 3 in five-year age groups from 10 & under through 80+. Virtual participants can submit times online and virtual packages are shipped the Monday after the event to continental US addresses.
