Larry Olsen 5K Classic
The 16th Annual Larry Olsen 5K Classic and Kids Dash takes place on August 15, 2026, at Hopedale Parklands, 4 Hopedale Street, at the corner of Hopedale and Dutcher Street in Hopedale, Massachusetts.
The event features the following distances:
- 5K road race
- Kids Dash
Online registration is offered through RunSignUp. Entry fees are $25 for ages 18 and under and for ages 70 and older; $30 for other adult entrants with a higher fee after regular registration; Kids Dash fee is $5. The entry package includes one free beer from Rushford Brewery for participants aged 21 and over.
High school athletes entering their senior year who register for the event are eligible to apply for the Larry Olsen Scholarship. Scholarship applications must be emailed by May 31, 2026.
The race is named in honor of Larry Olsen, a runner and coach noted for multiple USATF masters national titles and national masters records, and for his 2014 induction into the USATF Masters Hall of Fame.
