Event overview
The Larry Nicholas 8.2K Trail Run takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Mission Creek Regional Park in Kelowna, BC (2363 Springfield Road). The main trail race covers 8.2 km as three loops through Mission Creek Park. The event is part of the Interior Running Association 2025 Trail Series and is organized by the Kelowna Running Club. The race has been held for more than 35 years and is supported by the Nicholas family.

Online registration closes November 1 at 6:00 pm and registration is not available on race day. Race package pick up is available on race day beginning at 8:30 am. Entry fees listed for the event are CA$25 for the 8.2K, CA$20 for the 8.2K with BC Athletics membership, and CA$8 for the Kids Fun Run. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and in five-year age-group increments. Parking is limited; street parking is available on Durnin Road and vehicles parked on Springfield Road may be ticketed.
