Event overview
The Lanikai 8K Run takes place on July 19, 2026, at Kailua Beach Park in Kailua, HI. The course begins at the Lanikai Monument, follows two counterclockwise loops of the Lanikai Bike Path, and finishes near the Lanikai Boat Ramp. The event includes a stroller division and is held in memory of a past participant. Faster runners are directed to the front and walkers to the back to help avoid collisions.

Packet pickup is offered the day before the race from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at The Running Room, 819 Kapahulu Ave., and on race morning starting at 5:30 AM. Parking is available in the Boat Ramp area and in Kailua Beach Park. Free shave ice is provided at the finish by Island Snow. Results are posted online almost immediately at timelinehawaii.com. Awards are given at the race to the top three male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in 5-year age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
