Langley and McLean Crew Turkey Trot
The 5th Annual Langley and McLean Crew Turkey Trot is a community 5K fun run held on November 28, 2026 at Langley High School, 6520 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA 22101. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome.
The event supports Langley Crew and McLean Crew. Crew is a varsity club sport that does not receive direct funding from Fairfax County Public Schools or Fairfax County. Race registrations and donations help both programs cover equipment, coaching, transportation, regattas, and financial assistance for rower dues. Funds collected through the event are split equally between the two teams unless a donor specifies a direct gift; donations made directly to one team support that team exclusively.
Registration opens on August 13 and closes on October 31. Fees are $40 through October 31 and $50 from November 1 through race day. Participants who register by November 1 will receive a commemorative race T-shirt; shirts cannot be guaranteed for later registrations. All registrations are completed online.
Logistics include free parking near the start and finish at Langley High School; the course map notes entrance and parking areas. Advance packet pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24 at Langley High School, Door 14 Lobby, and race-day pickup will also be available. After the event there will be music, coffee, food trucks, and a bake sale. The race is held rain or shine; organizers may cancel if weather poses a safety risk and registration fees are non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
