About the race
Langhorne American Legion Veteran’s Day 5K is a community running event held in Langhorne Borough at 115 West Richardson Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. The event includes a neighborhood 5K and a 1 mile run and walk course that takes participants through local streets.
The race raises funds for the benefit of Disabled American Veterans Chapter #85 and other veterans charities. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers and to overall age group winners.
Entry fees are published as follows: 5K early registration $30, $35 after Labor Day, and $25 for active military with ID. 1 mile early registration $20 and $25 after Labor Day. Children under 10 may enter free for the 1 mile and for designated child entry categories in the 5K.
Each registrant receives a commemorative T-shirt and refreshments. A water station is provided on the course. The race is professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co., and official results are available from that timing provider.
