Lakeside Double Sprint Triathlon
The Lakeside Double Sprint Triathlon is scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026 at Lakeside Park's 7th Inning Splash, 1500 Piedmont Hwy, Greenville, SC. It is part of the South Carolina Triathlon Series and is the series' only evening triathlon event.
The race format repeats a short triathlon sequence twice. Each sequence comprises a pool swim, a single bike loop, and a short run. The swim takes place in the 7th Inning Splash outdoor pool. The bike course is one loop on rural roads around Greenville County. The run is made up of two one-mile loops that provide multiple spectator viewing points.
Distances per sequence:
- 250 yards swim (pool)
- 8 miles bike (one loop)
- 2 miles run (two one-mile loops)
Event options and registration details are listed separately for individual and relay entries. The Sprint Triathlon has a registration fee of $85 with registration open from October 1, 2025 and closing December 31, 2025. The Sprint Relay has a registration fee of $130 with registration open from October 1, 2025 and closing January 31, 2026. Relay teams may consist of 2 or 3 members, any member may perform any part or parts of the event, and all exchanges must occur within the transition area.
