Lakefront 10 Miler & 5K
The Lakefront 10 Miler & 5K is a spring road race held in Chicago at Montrose Beach in Lincoln Park on April 11, 2027. The event features two distances that run along the Chicago lakefront and include a track finish and a climb over Cricket Hill.

Both courses begin on Wilson Track and follow segments of the Lakefront Trail. The 10 Mile proceeds south with a turnaround near North Avenue, uses the Diversey underpass, and finishes by climbing Cricket Hill and returning on the Wilson Track straightaway. The 5K proceeds north to Foster Beach, follows the trail east and south past Montrose Harbor, and finishes up and over Cricket Hill onto Wilson Track.
Race services and policies include chip timing, a race shirt, a custom keepsake bib, finishers medals for all participants, post race beverages, and a results and awards tent. Overall and age group awards are offered for both distances. Prize money for the top three 10 Mile finishers is stated as $500, $350, and $150. Registration has tiered pricing with a CARA Supporter member discount. Refunds and deferrals are not issued. Participants must finish within two hours and thirty minutes after the last on time start.
