Event overview
The Lake Vyrnwy 10k is a trail and multi-terrain running event held on Sunday 21 June 2026 on private land at the Lake Vyrnwy estate in Llanwddyn. The advertised distance is 10k (approx). Race headquarters, start and finish are on the private estate; full instructions and postcodes are sent to entered runners before the event.
Course and facilities
The route uses a mix of fast footpaths, grassed areas, stoney sections and short stretches of tarmac, and includes climbs and downhill sections with views over the lake. The organiser plans water stations at about 4k and 6.7k, plus water at the start and finish areas. Music and a help desk will be available at the start/finish. The exact route is not published because it is on private land.
Logistics and rules
Parking is described as a short walk from the start/finish area and will be signed on the day; parking costs £3 per car (cash on arrival). Runners are encouraged to bring a suitable bottle to run with. Minimum age for the 10k is 16 years.
