Lake Vyrnwy 10k
The Lake Vyrnwy 10k takes place on 21 June 2026 on private land at the Lake Vyrnwy Estate in Llanwddyn. The event is organised by Adrenaline Sporting Events and is an approximate 10 km trail route that moves around areas of the estate.
The route covers a mix of surfaces, including fast footpaths, grassed sections, stoney areas and tarmac. The course includes climbs and downhill stretches and passes viewpoints that overlook the lake. The exact route is not published because it is on private land and the organisers respect the landowner's wishes.
Race headquarters, start and finish are on the estate. Parking is a short walk from the start and finish area and will be signed on the day. Parking is charged at £3 per car, payable in cash on arrival. Full instructions and postcodes are emailed to entrants before the event. The parking area is on private estate land and drivers are asked to be respectful.
Event support includes music and a help desk at the start and finish, two water stations on the 10 km course at about 4 km and 6.7 km, plus water at the start and finish area. Runners receive a finishers medal. Minimum age for the 10 km is 16 years. Awards are given to the top three female and top three male finishers.
