Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon
The Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon is scheduled for 13 September 2026 and is listed as sold out. The event is a single clockwise lap of Lake Vyrnwy that starts and finishes in the village of Llanwddyn. Organisers describe the course as fast and note that it offers views around the lake.
The Race Start and Finish area will include music, flags and a help desk at Race HQ. The race village is a short walk from the event car park. All runners and spectators are asked to use the event car park in Llanwddyn, SY10 0LT; there is no other car parking available in the village or at the lake. Participants are advised to leave belongings in their cars because no baggage drop is provided.
The event provides a generous race cut-off time to allow participants to finish before public roads are fully reopened. Finishers receive a unique medal, water and a cereal bar. Prizes are listed for the top three female and top three male finishers and for 14 age group winners, seven female and seven male. The course record is listed as 1:02:14. The charity partner is to be confirmed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
