About the race
Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon is a one-lap, clockwise course starting and finishing in the Powys, Wales village of Llanwddyn, wrapping a fast, scenic loop around Lake Vyrnwy. Described as extremely fast with a course record of 1:02:14, the route offers spectacular lake views throughout. Runners collect a unique finishers medal and receive water and a cereal bar at the finish.
The event village features music and flags at the start/finish, with a short walk from the main event car park in Llanwddyn. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and in age groups. No baggage drop is provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
