Lake Terramuggus Olympic Triathlon
The event takes place on August 15, 2026 at Lake Terramuggus, Blish Park in Marlborough, Connecticut. Multiple race formats are offered, including individual, relay, and aquabike options. Registration opens January 31, 2026 and closes March 30, 2026.
- Olympic Tri / Olympic Relay Tri: 32.1 miles (1600 yard swim, 25 mile bike, 10K run)
- Aquabike: 25.9 miles
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, age-group winners in the categories 19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and over, as well as top relay and top male and female aquabike competitors.
There is a bike course cutoff: athletes must be off the bike course within 2 hours and 45 minutes of the start of the second wave. Athletes who miss the cutoff may complete one loop of the run course but are not eligible for awards. T-shirts are provided to pre-registered entrants through August 1. Entry fees are nonrefundable after August 1. In the event of weather-related cancellation, no refunds or transfers will be issued.
Race regulations include a prohibition on earbuds, mandatory helmet use and fastening before leaving transition, no mounting until Lake Road, maintaining a distance of at least two bike lengths behind other racers, riding as far right as possible, passing only on the left and immediately returning right, and no animals at Blish Park per town rules.
