Lake Piru Power Run 5K / 1K Fun Run
This is the first annual 5K and 1K community race at Lake Piru, held at 4780 Piru Canyon Rd, Piru, California. The event includes two race distances:
- 5K Race
- 1K Fun Run
Early packet and bib pick up will be held on 03/27 at Lake Piru Ranger Station from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with additional packet pick up available on the day of the race from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Vendors and food trucks listed for the event include 805 Burgers Co., Tacos Zacapu, Tikiz Ventura County Shaved Ice, and Kiki's Adventures Kayaks.
Registration pricing is time-limited: early bird rates run through March 7, with standard registration open through March 21. Listed fees are $50 early bird and $55 standard for the 5K, and $25 early bird and $30 standard for the 1K. The event is rain or shine and tickets are nonrefundable. To receive a T-shirt by race day registrants are encouraged to register by March 7; shirts will be provided even if delayed.
Camping is available the night before at Olive Grove campground for an added fee of $25 per night. Male and female divisions are provided for competitors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
