Event Overview

The Lake Nighthorse Triathlon is a multisport event featuring Sprint and Olympic distances. The race takes place at the Lake Nighthorse Recreation Area near Durango, Colorado. It is a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event.

Course Details

The swim portion is a 750-meter open-water segment in Lake Nighthorse at an elevation of 6900 feet. The bike course includes climbs, and the run course is on a rolling, mostly natural dirt and gravel surface with views of the lake. The Olympic distance course consists of two laps of the Sprint course for all disciplines.

Participant Information
