Lake Houston BridgeFest 2026 : Overview

Lake Houston BridgeFest 2026 takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Kingwood, TX at 2420 W Lake Houston Parkway. Net proceeds benefit the Lake Houston Family YMCA and the Rotary Club of the Lake Houston Area. The event includes a family festival and organized run/walk events; the pre-race program is described as adaptive-friendly. For 2026, both race distances will be chip-timed. Each participant in the 5K or 1-mile event receives a custom bib, finisher medal and a BridgeFest race shirt. Packet pickup is at the Lake Houston Family YMCA on Wednesday through Friday, March 25-27; there is no race-day packet pickup.

Award categories for the 5K include male and female overall, masters (40+), grand masters (60+), and top three male and female in these age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The 1-mile awards include male and female overall and male and female 10 and under. The event has multiple sponsors and invites volunteers to support the festival and races.
