The Lake Cumberland Half & 10K : Somerset, Kentucky
The Lake Cumberland Half is a point-to-point road race that benefits Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County, Kentucky. The half marathon covers 13.1 miles and crosses Lake Cumberland from Bronston, KY on the Houseboat Capital of the World Bridge, then passes through parts of Burnside and Ferguson before returning into Somerset. The finish line for both events is at Somerset Community College, 808 Monticello St, Somerset, KY.
The 10K begins on Jacksboro St. in Ferguson and follows the half marathon route to the same finish at the college. Parking is available in the SCC Meece Parking Lot. Discounted accommodations are provided by the Courtyard Marriott adjacent to Somerset Community College.
