The Lake Cumberland Half & 10K : Somerset, KY
The Lake Cumberland Half & 10K is a community road race held on September 12, 2026, that benefits Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County. The half marathon is a 13.1 mile point to point course that crosses Lake Cumberland and finishes at Somerset Community College. The 10K starts in Ferguson and follows the same finish line in Somerset.
Both races finish at Somerset Community College, 808 Monticello St, Somerset, KY. Parking is available at the college (Meece Lot) and transportation is provided to both start locations. Packet pickup is offered the day before at Somerset Community College and on race morning.

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and top three in multiple age groups. Half marathon participants receive a performance race shirt and a 5 inch finisher medal; 10K participants receive a race shirt and a 4 inch finisher medal. The guaranteed shirt deadline has passed and limited sizes may remain. All registered participants will receive a finisher medal.
Race day guidelines note that the course is not closed to traffic, no animals are allowed, headphones are discouraged, and the half marathon has a 3 hour 30 minute time limit with a final cutoff of 11:00 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
