About the race
De Lage Vuursche Trail on 13 November 2027 is a trail running event that departs and finishes at Allure Camping De Zeven Linden in Baarn, Utrecht. Routes run through the Utrechtse Heuvelrug with single tracks, sand and forest paths, old lanes and open heather plains between Lage Vuursche and Soest. The longest route reaches Kasteel Groeneveld and other routes pass Soestdijk and Drakensteyn.
Participants choose to run one, two or three loops. Each loop is approximately 10 km and the order of the loops may be chosen on the day. Distances offered:
- 10 km
- 21 km
- 30 km
All loops are fully marked with arrows and ribbons. There is a basecamp at the campsite that houses the start, finish and the aid station. Aid is available after every loop at the start/finish location. Organizers do not provide disposable cups so participants should bring a personal racecup. Tickets show a one-hour start block within which the first lap may be started; the last lap may be started until 15:30. No GPX file is shared. The event lists a maximum capacity of 1825 participants.
