About the race
The Lage Vuursche Trail is an off-road running event near Baarn, Netherlands, scheduled for 13 November 2027. It uses Kampeerterrein De Zeven Linden as basecamp; routes start and finish at this camping location in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug area.
Participants choose from these distance options:
- 10 km
- 21 km
- 30 km
All loops are roughly 10 km each, so runners may complete one, two, or three laps in any order on the day. The course runs over a mix of single tracks, sand and forest paths, historic lanes, open heather fields and sections with older trees. The longest route reaches Kasteel Groeneveld and other routes pass near Soestdijk and Drakensteyn.

- All routes are fully waymarked with arrows and ribbons.
- A refreshment point is available after every lap at the start/finish location.
- No disposable cups are provided; participants should bring their own racecup.
- No GPX file is shared for this event; participants receive an information email one week before the event.
- A pop-up Trailrunning Shop will be present on site with selected gear.
- A unique event medal is available as an optional extra; winter editions have a special winter colouring. The organiser states a maximum physical attendee capacity of 1825 and that the event is not free of charge.
