Utrechtse Heuvelrug Ultra Trail Winter UHUT100
The Utrechtse Heuvelrug Ultra Trail Winter is a GPX based ultra trail event based at Molecaten Park Landgoed Ginkelduin in Leersum. The UHUT100 is spread over two days because of limited daylight in late autumn and consists of two roughly equal loops of about 50 km each. The first loop runs toward Rhenen and the second loop runs toward Doorn. Finishers of the ultras receive a UTMB index.
Support and navigation are provided. Each 50 km route is fully on navigation and participants receive a live tracker for real time tracking. Along each route there are three aid stations plus an additional aid station at the finish. Organisers expect participants to be self sufficient for stretches of about 10 to 15 km and provide pre event information and GPX files in the days before the event.
Practical details from the organiser include that a medal is not included with a standard ticket and can be ordered separately, and that a race tracker and bib are provided at the race office. The event is part of the Dutch Ultra Series and uses local routes that mix single tracks, open heathlands and sandy sections. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
