Laganside 10k and Junior Mile : 6 September 2026
The SPAR Laganside event on 6 September 2026 comprises a main 10 km race and a chip-timed Junior Mile. The 10 km is based in Ormeau Park, with the course running through the park, onto Ravenhill Road, along Albertbridge Road and the Lagan towpath toward Ormeau Bridge, returning via Ormeau Embankment for a second towpath lap and finishing back inside Ormeau Park via the Ozone car park path and park approaches. All turns are signposted and marshalled; participants are asked to observe marshals, police and other park and road users.
Key race details include an overall entry cap of 1,750 places, an early bird fee of £18 limited to 500 entries and a standard fee of £22. Standard 10k entries close on 2 August 2026 or when the race sells out. There are no refunds and the deadline for name changes is 2 August 2026. Race numbers can be posted for an additional fee and there are designated collection sessions before race day at the North Belfast Harriers Clubhouse.
The Junior Mile targets ages 6 to 15, with juniors under 8 required to be accompanied by a responsible adult; finishers receive a medal and a goody bag. Standard junior entry is £6 and junior entries close on 21 August 2026.
