Labor Day 5K Classic : Washington, PA
The Labor Day 5K Classic is the 44th running of a point to point 5K that begins at the Stone Pavilion in Washington Park and finishes near the Alpine Club Lanes building at 735 Jefferson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. The course has a net elevation drop of over 350 feet and will be electronically chip timed. Organizers report hundreds of personal records on this course.
Online registration opens 2026-03-27 and closes 2026-06-30. The entry fee is $25.00. Shirts are guaranteed to participants who pre-register by 2026-08-16. Race day registrations and packet pickup are available at the Alpine Club Lanes building.
The event includes separate runner and walker categories with multiple age groups. Runner age groups for male and female are: age 11 and under; 12-15; 16-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-69; 70+. Walker age groups for male and female are: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+.
Participants who plan to run or walk with a child in a stroller or carrier must register as a participant. The child cannot register separately. The parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver for the child and attach the provided tag(s) to the stroller or carrier. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
