Haunted Heroes Halloween - Long Beach
Haunted Heroes Halloween is a shoreline road race in Long Beach on October 3, 2026. The event offers four distance options: 5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon, with a custom Halloween-themed finisher medal and costume participation allowed.
The route uses the Long Beach Shoreline Path in Belmont Shores at 5400 E Ocean Blvd. The course is an open beach path shared with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists and consists of marked out-and-back loops. Specific formats are provided for each distance and an aid station at the turnaround/start/finish supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels.
Included with registration are drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, live results at finish, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking and app features to follow friends, plus an assortment of snacks and samples. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race only. Group discounts for three or more people apply through the race platform.
The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; extended arrangements may be available by contacting the organizer. Transfers are possible only by contacting the organizer and there is a no refund policy. Race day registration fees are listed for each distance and parking in nearby residential areas is free while nearby beach lots may require paid parking.
