Labadie Ribfest 5K
The Labadie Ribfest 5K takes place in Bay City, Michigan, as part of a multi day festival previously known as The Pig Gig. The event features two main participation options:
- 5K run
- 3.1 Miles walk
Participants in the race receive a commemorative t-shirt and a day pass granting access to the festival grounds on the day of the event. This day pass allows entry to the various festival activities, including a concert scheduled for the evening and performances by local bands located in the beverage tent.
Recognition is provided for high-performing participants across different categories. For those entered in the running event, medals are awarded to the top two finishers in each age division. For those participating in the walk, medals are presented to the top two overall finishers.
